well, im having the same problems as others... my IR CS2 doesnt support any of the files i have.... what im GUESSING... is.. maybe its some kinda codec issue? do the vids have to be a specific codec? not sure if ur familiar with video encoding but if possible can u maybe post a link to one of your source videos .. or even easier maybe post the info for one... file size ...file extention.. video codec type.. audio codec type (although im sure the image doesnt play sound it still may have something to do with IR CS2 supporting it... and video length... as i said i dunno if any of this will even help im just guessin .. but IR CS2 surely doesnt support any of the vids ive tryed to open so far

the problem is not that IR doesnt support specific codecs
it that IR doesn't support the file extentions at all
(i tried 20+ different codecs)

but i'm looking for add-ins
if i find something useful i'll post it here ;)

SOLVED THE PROBLEM!!!

you have to install Quicktime 4 or higher
and after that you're able to open .avi and .mov
