Showcase Guidelines
This thread is going to show you the rules you should abide by when posting in this forum. Before you start reading this, please do make sure you take a look at the
Master Rule Set. I don't think you need to be reminded so just read the rules on that link before reading this, if you haven't done so already.
General Posting:
Please, always use your head, think before you post. This will include such things as: Spelling errors, rude comments, etc... Thus use spell check (not required but it helps other's read your posts if grammar isn't your good side.) and be kind to other's work. Read the
Official Rating Rules. While that may not necessarily apply to this forum it has some good advice you should follow anyway.
Posting a signature or updating your showcase thread, this is something people need to know, posting one image should not count as a post, put effort in your posts. The staff better not see someone just post an image, as this can be spam in other people's eyes. Try to put a few sentences under the image to express how you made it and whatnot. This shows that you take the time to make your posts count and people appreciate that. I'm sure you all have read
this thread by now. It was created by evo Force, good guide I might add, this is something that is required to be read. If you don't study this thread you could end up giving some bad comments and getting yourself in trouble.
Signature Posting:
Please when posting at least 20-30 or more images at least put "56K warning", "lots of sigs/images", etc in your thread tittles as this is a heads up to someone with a slower Internet connection, thus helping them and everyone else out a lot more.
Of Course if your showcase has something considered "Mature, etc" Like blood, violence sexual content, drugs, etc... Label your thread accordingly. NOTE: Not every thread needs this, if you have a violent signature that is in your opinion not that bad or if you have a showcase thread already in use that you update often then this is not needed. If you really have a lot of Mature signatures though please put that in there when making a
new thread.
