In this sig I tried to catch the eccense of happyness, btw C&C would be nice

Yeah. The colors are great. Get rid of those dark areas. And the gradient white line on the middle.

I brightened up the dark area I tried to add a gradient map to the white line but it made it way to bright, but now it feels like it lost depth

the bright one lookes way better imo
try to add a highpass(10-15 should be enough) set it to overlay and play around with the opacity
that should give your tag some really nice effect

highpass is just a filter:
Filter -> Other -> High Pass
