Its a bit 2 plain.
COlors are pretty soften, add some darker spots, for the depth and focal point!
Render is a bit 2 much in the BG blended
Add a simpel border.
Also add a lightsource, depth is ok, not that bad.

And watch out with effects over the render himself, add some places, u overbrushed the render.

Its not really bad, but u could add a better lightning (source) and some darken spots, would be cool.

Well, yeah, it's smudging... but you made it sound like it's something that can be done easily... It really took me a while to do it ;_;
