| Buying banners on other sites
This may be a good idea, only if:
The site has a lot of traffic and the price is worthwhile.
The site your advertising on has traffic that might be interested in your site.
You can afford to make the investment without any problems, in other words it's within your budget, and if it's not as successful as you thought, you won't go broke.
The last one is important, as when you buy a banner on a forum, your taking a risk that it won't produce any results at all. I bought a small banner once, and I got zero members out of it. |
