Well.. i suppose graphics is everywhere.. so we should get payed good.
Im only 17, in college studying engineering.
When i start to work i'm going to do graphic design and illustration as a second job or let's say when i have time.
It does give you good money, but let me tell you that going freelance is realllllly hard. I have a friend that does graphic illustration for magazines and stuff like that, and he gets payed really good. He has even started producing his own books full of his work.
But what he told me was that it's hard to be a freelance graphics artist (if you don't have a backup job then you wouldnt have any money to pay bills, not unless you're living with someone that can help you), it become much easier when you start making money, and keep in contact with your clients.
