Photos Keep Going Gray

Ok when I go into Photoshop I open up my document and then I open A stock when I open the stock its full of colour and then I drag it in to the canvas it goes gray black and white so i go to a photofilter gradiant maps all that It wont work its all fucking gray Im trying everything even brushes turn gray is the a easy reason why this is happening well if you know can you tell me thank you.

Go to image/mode/RGB Color... not the greyscale.... i hope it works on you.. :p

I agree, you probably have it set on Grayscale yes.
Switch to RGB, always check this.

if that doesn' t work press Ctl+~ , it might be you dont have all your color channels on
