Who Got You Into Graphics

I just got into gfx not that long ago. My friend told me about photoshop, and I decided to get it. But, I'm still new at it.

I got into because of School since I wasn;t good at drawing I took infotech instead. So now I have to do it. But I like it tons!

OKay, good question!

I started out playing Spades on Yahoo and joined a Spades league. I later became a tournament Director. During that time, I ran into other tourney directors and noticed how cool their sites were. I wondered how the heck they did it.

I got good at spades and mastered the ends of outs of how to put on tournaments and decided to start my own spades league. It was then that I learned about graphics because I had to design my own site.

I ran into a girl named Carol that ran a pool league and she was kind enough to first teach me the basics of html and how to incorporate images on a web page.

We became good friends and she gave me my first graphic editor, Paint Shop Pro 7 with animation. Not only did I design myself an awesome site, I started getting requests from other admin to do their sites as well.

After that, I met a hacker that made yahoo booters and he gave me my first cracked version of photoshop to design an interface for him (which was a little over a year ago). I've been messing around with photoshop ever since.

None. . . I was just curious how to use the Photoshop then I saw some works made from photoshop, they made me jelous. So I thought of making something like the way they do it.

I got ps 7.0 as a start from one of my friends and i made some sigs on websites and stuff... Then i found new ways to do stuff and still making tags and wallpapers...

I got into gfx when I was clanning on starcraft. My leader some of u might kno him by Nica was very good at gfx and he got me into it heavily that was about 3 years ago.....slowly I got better teaching a guy named Kash who some of u all might kno how to do gfx and helpin him. Now he is way better than me and I got a whole lot to do to cath up and get caught up with all these different styles I have been seein.....three years ago there was no such thing as sprites, and now that I see them they are really cool.....anyways thats how I got into gfx

I can't really remember very well but I think I got introduced to paint shop pro through a friend, all I know for sure is that I've been hooked ever since. I've always been into art and all things creative pretty much, so fucking around with graphics was like second nature to me.
