I was slef taught for about my first 20 sigs. Then I had a mentour. And then after about 2-3 months he said I was moderate enough to learn my own stuff.
Sadly no. 3 months ago when I Started doing Sigs, I copied a funky tutorial and got a horrible result on my very first sig. I couldn't follow half of the steps because I didn't have the blending option on photoshop 6.0 or I didn't know what they meant. I didn't even know what a c4d was or any of the vocabulary like "Grunge brushing" and whatnot. At least I improved.
Ive never had any mentor, Ive been designing solo for 4 years now

The world of gfx is full of people telling you no, your not good enough,
telling you three things and kicking you in the ass and moving on,
thats personally my opinion. My original dream with this team
was too make a place were not only do we strive to be the
best and win at all costs, but we don't leave others in the
dust, We as a team should recruit not only to succeed
but to assist the community as best we can. Think
about that when you recruit....
I've never had a mentor. I've been doing this for about....I unno, I started when I was like 16 or so. Im 21 now, do the math. Sadly enough, I still suck.
