LCD monitors

Does having an LCD monitor improve the color quality of your graphics work? Or does the monitor have nothing to do with it. Like, does your work look crisper on a better monitor?

i noticed that when i make pictures on my tft (lcd) they look good but when i view them on my other screen (crt or normal) they are dark and loose depth so i say yes there is a difference in them but if its beter it depends on your setting i guess.

I guess theres a difference. But if thats the case doesn't it mean how it looks to you may be nice but maybe it doesn't look as nice through someone else's monitor?

But actually,I don't think theres that much of a big difference.

I think it depends on the quality of your screen...and LCD has more vibrant and rich color then a standard monitor.

i think that the color quality depends on the designer.... not much on the screens.. the designer knows better

LCD makes the colours better, as it has more shades etc. so yes it does make a difference, not a BIG one but

The monitor does not have anything to do with the quality of graphics. It is the graphics card and the software you use that matters.
