^Backgrounds can easily be made using brushes, Filters, Brush Strokes Filter, other elements like C4Ds, Photograph parts, stock parts, or just bits and peices (parts) from the render cutout or the MAIN CHARACTER IMAGE that will be the focal point of the sig or LP presentation.

I remember I made a signature, from a render cutout. The background, shadows, lighting and everything ONLY came from the render cutout itself. Nothing more. I just manipulated and morphed (photo morphed) one piece and made it "illusionarily" appear as if I borrowed from brushes, C4Ds, Render Lighting and other elements that make up an admirable image sig/LP. Just be creative and let it flow...
