Not really, only if your...well, you know, Doesn't matter, its fun.

So far I've only been hit by around a 265fps, and it didn't hurt, just stings for 2 seconds.

Guns can go above 600fps, but thats mostly for snipers. CQB battles usually don't allow over 350fps for safety purposes.
