Collide Hub is an online platform that enables entrepreneurs to connect, network, collaborate and share resources. Through York University's partnership with Collide Hub, we are creating the LaunchYU network.
ventureLAB is the York Region's Regional Innovation Centre.?Through?its Delivery Proises of Mentoring, Partnering, and Connect, as well as its flagship program BUILD,??ventureLAB helps entrepreneurs build high-growth, innovative, scalable businesses. ventureLAB has partnered with York University to bring the Begin and Educate portions of the BUILD program on campus, to accelerate high potential startup companies engaged in the LaunchYU program.
York Entrepreneurship Development Institute (YEDI) is an organization focused on accelerating innovative small businesses and not-for-profit organizations, through the delivery of its intensive program which incorporates lecture-based learning, seminar training, deliverable milestones, peer workshops, and mentorship by subject matter experts. YEDI has partnered with York University to deliver their program for student and youth entrepreneurs and to accelerate high potential start-up companies engaged in the LaunchYU program.
MaRS Innovation is the official commercialization agent for the intellectual property created by its 15 members. Technologies disclosed to us span therapeutics, medical devices and diagnostic imaging, information and communications technologies, and advanced manufacturing and clean technologies. MaRS Innovation has partnered with York University to support and educate entrepreneurs who are part of the LaunchYU program.
Kingbridge Centre & Institute is a unique residential Conference Centre and full-service hospitality venue designed specifically for leaders who want to work with their teams to expand their thinking and inspire change. Kingbridge has created a specialized place where the focus is solely dedicated to meeting and learning. Kingbridge has partnered with York University to host and support entrepreneurial events throughout the LaunchYU program.

Sarah is the Director of Innovation York, the commercialization and industry liaison office for York University. Prior to joining York, Sarah worked as a Contracts Coordinator and then a Business Development Officer at The Hospital for Sick Children. Sarah is responsible the strategic direction and day to day operation of Innovation York, as well as supporting all four service streams. She has an MBA in technology and innovation management. Sarah is the former Chair of the Canadian Licensing survey and Associate Vice-President, Canada for the Association of University Technology Managers.

Nilay is the Entrepreneurship Manager at York University and manages York University’s Entrepreneurship program: LaunchYU. Previously, Nilay was the Founding Associate Director of the Creative Destruction Lab accelerator at University of Toronto, he founded the semiconductor verification product division at e-Infochips Inc. and led its acquisition by Cadence Design Systems, and led the Canadian operations for SkyQuest Technology Group, a global IP-based accelerator, research & investment bank. He has also worked as a management consultant in various industries including technology, healthcare and fashion and luxury goods. He has worked with various startups while helping them with their long term strategy, fund raising, and scaling operations./
